Dr Georgia Marshall

Dr Georgia Marshall - Bsc (Hons), MSc, DClinPsy

I am a Clinical Psychologist specialising in work with children and young people. Through my work in CAMHS services in the NHS, I have gained extensive experience of working with children of all ages as well as their parents and carers. I have provided support for a wide range of difficulties. I have also worked in assessment of autism and ADHD, meaning that I have a good understanding of neurodiversity. I also have specific experience of working with young people following traumatic life events.

I am able to support young people with a range of difficulties including low mood, anxiety, and difficulties with self-esteem and trauma. I welcome working with children who are neurodiverse, and am able to offer support to families whether they are wondering if their child might have autism or ADHD, or whether they are adjusting to a new diagnosis. I am able to make adaptations to clinical work to support those with additional needs.

It is really important to me to offer a welcoming, non-judgemental space where young people feel safe. Building a therapeutic relationship with children is incredibly important to me. I use an integrative approach, meaning that I draw on different models to support families based on their individual needs.

Outside of work, you can find me exploring the countryside with a hot chocolate. I also enjoy cooking and reading.
